Chris Christie Named New Jersey Lawyer of the Year 12-27-06 -- Heading the same US attorney office that burdened the nation with Samuel Alito and Michael Chertoff, Christie hopes to be the "next big thing" to come out of New Jersey.
Like his predecessors, Christie's specialty is pursuing low value, high publicity cases which do little for the public, but guarantee big headlines and assist his climb up the judicial-corporate ladder.
